Reciprocal Notification Mechanism

A formal protocol that enables two or more agencies or teams to notify one another of incidents, status changes, risks or case events relevant to shared responsibilities; the protocol defines triggers, minimum message content, expected timing, acknowledgement and escalation procedures, and handling of sensitivity and confidentiality constraints.
