Elementary Class

A class of structures in a fixed language that is axiomatizable by a (possibly infinite) set of first-order sentences; equivalently, a class closed under isomorphism and under elementary equivalence and elementary substructures/ultraproduct characterizations.

A class of structures that is exactly the class of models of some first‑order theory, equivalently a class closed under elementary equivalence and under taking elementary substructures.
