Tomographic imaging method that reconstructs a three‑dimensional volumetric map of X‑ray attenuation (or linear attenuation coefficients) from multiple two‑dimensional projections acquired at different angles; applied non‑destructively to reveal internal geometry, porosity, cracks and inclusions, with spatial resolution and contrast determined by source energy, detector characteristics, geometry a
