Waist-to-Hip Ratio

The numerical ratio obtained by dividing waist circumference by hip circumference (both measured at defined anatomical points); a simple anthropometric indicator of body fat distribution where higher values indicate relatively greater central (abdominal) adiposity compared with gluteofemoral adiposity.
