The aggregate flow of people entering and moving through library spaces during a defined time interval, measured or estimated by sensors, observational counts, Wi‑Fi/BLE tracking, or manual surveys. Footfall captures spatial circulation and density over time but does not, alone, specify purpose of visit, service use, or individual identities.
