Receiver Sensitivity

The minimum input signal power at the receiver input required to achieve a specified performance threshold (for example a given bit‑error rate, packet error rate, or demodulator SNR) under defined conditions of bandwidth, modulation, noise temperature and interference. Sensitivity is typically reported in dBm and depends on noise floor, required SNR, bandwidth and receiver noise figure.
