Precast Concrete Construction
Definition
A construction method in which concrete elements (panels, beams, columns, slabs, stair units, etc.) are cast and cured in a controlled off‑site facility and subsequently transported and assembled on site; load transfer, durability and overall structural performance depend on the design of connections, lifting anchors, tolerances and erection sequence rather than on in‑situ casting continuity.
