Population Viability Analysis

A quantitative modelling method that projects future population trajectories by combining demographic parameters (birth, death, age/sex structure), environmental and demographic stochasticity, and specified threats or management actions to estimate extinction or quasi‑extinction risk over a chosen time horizon and to evaluate alternative management scenarios.
