Participatory Design

A collaborative design method in which intended users and relevant stakeholders are actively involved across one or more stages of the design lifecycle (discovery, ideation, prototyping, evaluation) so that their practices, needs, and constraints shape requirements, structure, and decisions for information systems or services.
