The horizontal (sagittal) distance measured in centric occlusion between the labial surface or incisal edge of the most protruded maxillary anterior tooth(s) and the labial surface or incisal edge of the opposing mandibular anterior tooth(s), expressed in millimetres; commonly referred to as overjet.
