Nonmanifold Edge

An edge in a polyhedral or simplicial complex whose incident facets (faces or higher-dimensional cells) meet in a pattern that does not produce a neighborhood homeomorphic to a disk times an interval, so the local topology fails the manifold condition at that edge.
