A centralized assembly, typically a modular panel or bank of compartments, that contains motor starters, circuit protection devices, power distribution buswork, control and signalling equipment (relays, drives, PLC interfaces) and associated wiring used to start, protect, control and coordinate multiple electric motors within an industrial or commercial installation.
