Definition
The bidirectional set of practices, communications and institutional engagements through which media actors (journalists, outlets, platforms) and civil society organizations (NGOs, advocacy groups, community organizations, social movements) exchange information, sources, framing, expertise and mobilization capacity, thereby shaping public agendas, accountability processes and collective action.
