Mapping Telescope

A topological construction that assembles a sequence of spaces and maps X_1 → X_2 → X_3 → ··· into a single 'telescope' space by gluing mapping cylinders end-to-end, modeling the sequential homotopy colimit and allowing study of limiting homotopy or homology behavior.
