Information & Communication Dictionary
The functional domain responsible for configuring, monitoring, and maintaining network elements and services, including fault detection, performance measurement and provisioning. The management plane implements operational control, inventory and telemetry functions distinct from the control plane (real‑time signaling) and the data plane (user traffic).
