Lexical Richness

Class of aggregate metrics that quantify the variety, relative rarity, and distributional evenness of lexical items in a text or corpus under stated preprocessing and sampling rules; operationally realized by indices such as type–token ratios, hapax/type proportions, lexical density, or model-based measures of diversity and surprisal.
