Lateral Violence

Hostile, aggressive, undermining or undermining behaviours between colleagues at the same or similar hierarchical level—such as persistent belittling, sabotage, gossip, exclusion or overt hostility—that violate professional boundaries, degrade team functioning and can indirectly impair patient care.
