Intersectoral Collaboration

A purposeful arrangement of shared goals, negotiated responsibilities, and coordinated activities between health services and one or more non-health sectors (for example education, housing, social services, transportation) established to address upstream determinants of health and produce outcomes that neither sector could achieve alone.
