Information Worlds

A conceptual framework that analyses social spheres as distinct ‘worlds’ defined by their own information norms, practices, genres, authorities, and boundary mechanisms; within an Information World, actors assign value to information, regulate access, and establish expectations about trust, relevance and circulation.
