Volumetric Energy Density
Definition
The amount of energy that a material, cell or system can store or deliver per unit volume, typically expressed in watt‑hours per liter (Wh/L) or per cubic meter (Wh/m³); used to assess how much energy fits into a constrained spatial footprint, and distinct from gravimetric energy density (energy per mass) and power density.
