Definition
A patient‑education verification technique: after conveying health information or instructions, the clinician asks the patient to restate the information in their own words (or to demonstrate the action) to reveal gaps in comprehension; the clinician then clarifies and re‑teaches as needed until accurate understanding is demonstrated.
