Specular Gloss

Gloss measurement of the specular (mirror‑like) reflectance component taken at a defined incident and measurement angle; in practice, specular gloss quantifies directional reflectance using standardized geometries (commonly 20°, 60° or 85°) so surfaces of different roughness and finish can be compared under repeatable conditions.
