Spectrum Sensing Missed Detection

A sensing error in which a spectrum-monitoring process reports an occupied frequency resource (channel, time-slot, or spectral segment) as unoccupied, causing a secondary transmitter to access it and thereby risking harmful interference to the incumbent(s).
