Spectral Sequence Construction

The mechanism that produces a sequence of pages (E_r, d_r) from a filtered complex, exact couple, or filtered object and relates successive pages by differentials so that their stable limit approximates or computes the desired homology or cohomology; in practice it is a bookkeeping and convergence tool for successive approximations.
