Photomontage

A technique for creating a single image by combining two or more photographic images or photographic elements (prints, negatives, digital files) so that the resulting composition presents a new visual statement; the method may preserve visible seams or aim for seamless integration, and it relies on juxtaposition, scale, perspective, tonal matching, and layer ordering to produce meaning.
