Photogram

A camera‑less photographic technique that produces an image by placing objects directly on or very close to a photosensitive surface and exposing that surface to light so that the object's opacity, translucency and three‑dimensional form modulate local exposure; the resulting latent image is rendered visible by the development or processing method appropriate to the photosensitive material.
