Peer Disagreement Resolution

A deliberative procedure for responding to a recognized epistemic conflict between agents judged to be epistemic peers (comparable competence and access to evidence), typically involving one or more of: provisional suspension of belief, revision of credibility (credences), partitioning the dispute into narrower subquestions, or seeking additional shared evidence or methodological clarification.
