Definition
The deliberate reconfiguration of operational procedures, workflows, roles, metrics, and feedback mechanisms taken from one field so they function effectively under the aims, constraints, and conventions of another—achieved by translating objectives, decision points, resource allocations and accountability structures rather than copying process steps verbatim.
