Occlusal Splint Therapy

A removable dental appliance, custom-fitted to the maxillary or mandibular occlusal surfaces, used as a diagnostic and therapeutic device to manage parafunctional activity (e.g., bruxism), redistribute occlusal forces, protect tooth structure, and reduce temporomandibular musculoskeletal symptoms while worn under clinician supervision.
