Mean Reciprocal Rank (MRR)

An information retrieval metric equal to the arithmetic mean, across a set of queries, of the reciprocal of the rank position of the first item judged relevant for each query. Ranks start at 1; if no relevant item is returned for a query, that query contributes zero (or is excluded by convention).
