The proportion of latent fingerprint examinations that result in a definitive identification (examiner‑confirmed individualization) or an operational database hit (automated or human‑confirmed AFIS/AFI match) under the agency's reporting standards, expressed as Latent Print Match Rate = (number of definitive identifications or qualifying hits) / (number of latent print examinations).
