Floor of Mouth

The anatomical region forming the inferior boundary of the oral cavity beneath the tongue, composed of mucosal and muscular layers (including the mylohyoid and suprahyoid structures), containing the sublingual spaces, salivary glands and ducts, neurovascular elements, and serving as a functional and potential-pathology space.
