Fabrication Workflow

A coordinated sequence of tasks, tools, resources, and roles used to plan, produce, and deliver a fabricated artwork or design prototype; typically specifies stages (e.g., design documentation, material selection, digital-to-physical translation, cutting/forming, assembly, finishing, quality control, packaging and transport) and the information or handoffs required between them.
