Embedded Reporting

A method of reporting in which journalists are granted sustained access by being placed within an organization, unit or event (physically or virtually) to observe operations from the inside under negotiated terms; such access produces granular observational detail but creates risks to independence, perspective and selective exposure that must be mitigated and disclosed.
