Destination Competitiveness Model
Definition
A framework that explains a tourism destination’s ability to attract and sustain market demand as an outcome of the interaction among its resource endowments (natural and cultural assets), supporting infrastructure and services, governance and policy, human capital, and stakeholder collaboration; competitiveness is relational and dynamic rather than intrinsic to any single asset.
