Cross-Sector Collaboration

Cooperative arrangements and coordinated activities undertaken by actors from different societal sectors (public, private, non‑profit/NGO, academic) to address shared problems or produce joint outcomes, characterised by deliberate governance, resource sharing, and aligned objectives across institutional boundaries.

A cooperative arrangement in which actors from distinct sectors (for example, cultural, commercial, civic, academic or governmental) coordinate resources, responsibilities, decision-making and governance to pursue an explicitly shared objective or project while maintaining identifiable sectoral identities and accountability mechanisms.
