Definition
A delivery method in which the owner engages a construction manager early to provide preconstruction services, coordinate trade contracts, and manage construction, and the construction manager commits to deliver the project within a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) or equivalent arrangement, thereby assuming defined cost-overrun risk.
