Bi-Level Positive Airway Pressure Device

A noninvasive ventilatory device that delivers two distinct continuous positive airway pressure levels—one higher level during or synchronized with patient inspiration (IPAP) and one lower level during expiration (EPAP)—via a mask or other external interface to assist ventilation, maintain airway patency, and reduce work of breathing without an artificial airway.
