Animal–Human Interface

The ensemble of contact points, behaviours and shared environments through which biological, environmental or behavioural exchanges occur between animals and humans, encompassing direct contact, indirect contact (fomites, shared water/soil), vectors and shared ecological spaces that permit transmission or mutual influence across species boundaries.
