Hazard Ratio

A relative measure in survival analysis equal to the ratio of the instantaneous event rate (hazard) in one group to that in a comparison group, usually expressed as HR = h1(t)/h0(t); it describes multiplicative differences in hazard over time rather than differences in cumulative probability at a fixed time.
