Grid-Following Inverter Control

A converter control strategy in which the inverter synchronizes its current‑based output to an externally measured grid voltage and frequency (typically via a phase‑locked loop) and injects active and reactive current according to setpoints; it requires a stable external voltage reference and does not itself establish system voltage or frequency.
