Geodesic Flow

The dynamical system on the tangent bundle (often restricted to the unit tangent bundle) of a Riemannian manifold whose trajectories are tangent lifts of geodesics parameterized by arc length; it evolves a footpoint and a velocity vector by following geodesic motion.
