General Equilibrium Theory
Definition
A body of economic theory that describes how prices and allocations are determined simultaneously across all markets by agents who optimize given preferences, endowments and technologies, where an equilibrium is a price vector and allocation such that all markets clear and agents' plans are mutually consistent.
