Gemba Walk

A management practice in which leaders go to the actual place where work is done ('gemba') to observe processes directly, engage frontline staff with questions and listening, and identify concrete opportunities for improvement; emphasis is on seeing, asking and understanding rather than inspecting or imposing solutions.
