Framework of Reasons

An organized set of justificatory relations, considerations, and normative principles that together render particular actions, attitudes, or norms rationally intelligible or warranted to agents or audiences; a framework of reasons structures deliberation by specifying which considerations count as reasons, how they weigh, and how they justify conduct or belief.
