Corner Singularity

A localized singular behavior in the solution of a partial differential equation that arises at geometric corners or interior angles on the domain boundary, typically manifesting as unbounded gradients or power-law divergence of field quantities.

A geometric singularity occurring where two or more boundary segments meet at a nontrivial angle; the local geometry forces a loss of regularity for solutions of boundary-value problems (for example elliptic PDEs) near that point.
