Continuum Hypothesis

The set-theoretic statement that there is no cardinal number strictly between the cardinality of the integers ℵ0 and the cardinality of the real numbers 2^{ℵ0} (equivalently that 2^{ℵ0} = ℵ1 under the conventional formulation), asserting a specific size for the continuum.
