Civil Process Unit

A specialized unit within a law‑enforcement or sheriff's organization responsible for executing and documenting service of civil legal process (e.g., summonses, subpoenas), enforcing and returning court orders (e.g., evictions, writs), preserving chain of custody and evidentiary documentation, and coordinating with courts and civil litigants for non‑criminal enforcement actions in accordance with
