Chromaticity Coordinates

Numeric coordinates (for example CIE x,y or u',v') that locate a color's chromatic content—its hue and saturation—on a defined chromaticity diagram or plane independent of its luminance value, derived from normalized tristimulus values for a specified observer and illuminant.
