Blind Source Separation

A class of signal-processing methods that recover original source signals from observed mixtures without prior knowledge of the mixing system, typically by exploiting statistical structure (e.g., independence or non-Gaussianity); identifiability is generally limited to permutation and scaling of recovered sources unless additional constraints or references are provided.
